The paddle from Canso to Dover is very much featureless for the most part. You have the beauty of many rock islands barely treed and the smells of spruce and pine mixed with salt brine as you paddle by. On a sunny and hot day to me it was spectacular. The birds I noticed flew so close to me either very curious or trying to ward me off. The rocks though are smoothed from the strong gales that often blow along these shores.
