I left home at 0530 this morning to be in Fermeuse for my Jan. 1st, 2009 paddle. Given the fore casted conditions this seemed like a safe place to be, and it was. I am here getting ready to paddle at about 0715 in the morning. It was an excellent way to spend two hours of my New Years day.
