Following the pack and enjoying the trip. At tghis point we are heading a bit closer to shore where to me some of the best kayaking is to be had. This sometimes makes me a pain in the ass as I break from the group and explore the coastline. It is hard on the head to break with the plans of the trip leader because they are the ones controlling the pace, the safety and the general organization of the group. This is volunteered time, no one is paid for their efforts on club outings, but I just have this compulsion or curiosity and adventure that is not always met by straight line paddles.
