Thank ya Silbs. I was kind of lost in my own space at this point. It was vey calm and the water appeared to me like huge square sheets of a grid undulating and flexing ever so lightly. I've experienced this before in ST. John's bay which is an unruely place most times. The water is calm the winds are very low and the swell is minimal as on the ocean I don't believe it can truely ever get flat but this is as close as it comes.
I know of what you speak. Sometimes I sit out there on Lake Michigan (which appears calm), and I can feel the lake breathing. It's what I thought of when I first saw the image.

That's a killer image.
