Back in the pool for more play. Tonight I tuned my offside roll, did a few re-enters and roll and practise some skulling in water braces, need a bit of work yet. I hope to paddle in Hibbs Cove area on Friday as I plan to take a day off work. The forecast looks very good so far but it is only Wednesday and that can change fast. Hopefully I'll have some good photo opps.
Hibbs Cove is just up the road from Port de Grave. Yoy have Bay Roberts on one side and Conception bay on the other. Some interesting names here though like, Bareneed, Blow Me Down, and Pick Eyes. What would be a neat little paddle is to start on the NW side in Upper BAck or Lower Back Cove and paddle round the head land at Green Point and down the SE side to Port de Garve. The starting and ending point are only 200 m apart by land. The Paddle around the headland from either Upper BAck or Lower BAck cove would be about 14-16km. I'm hoping to get a paddle in the out of doors every month this year. Should not be too difficult but ya just never know. I still have to get Friday off yet.

Stan, good for you for working on the offside roll. I just get stuck trying to figure it out (although Ralph tells me never say never!).
Where is Hibbs Cove?

I got an easy way for ya to get the off side. Or at least it worked easy enough for me.
