This picture was taken on my first Ferry sailing to NFLD. I sat behind these ladies reading. I was able to see that the mother and daughter were reading as well and that the grandma was staring out to the stern of the boat and the wake it was leaving behind. All were oblivious and entranced in their own thoughts.

If you've ever paddled in Indian Bay or else even boated there you will be familiar with the "glove" looking rock that the locals assure me is a design of nature. One can't help but wonder how the CH got etched on the glove however. The rocky owner's I guess.

"Bell Extension"

Bell Island in Conception Bay area of NL offers some unique island formations with protruding and extruding butts of land and craggy cliffs descending to aqua green waters and little sandy coves. These little coves make for awesome landing sites when kayaking the island.

Found it to share. Take the time to read, to be informed, because in all my travels across this country it is my experience that the Atlantic peoples do keep abreast of their politics. As well they should for how their provinces are used as pawns for political gain and votes. I only hope we continue to stand united to present a unified voice for the issues that involve us all as maritime cultures.
