"Collier's Put-In"

Tony lugging his boat over the crusty snow laden shore. I took the day of work to paddle in Collier's today and I must say ........it was worth every stroke.

Reaally enjoying winter paddling at this point. As we discover the nuiances it really can be fun. Alison this was very spontaneous so hopefully next time you'll be able to join us.

Surreal image, for me.
You guys are one though bunch.
Some of our paddlers won't venture out in "winter" when water temps dip to "alarming" 22C and air temps below 20C.
Needless to say that your environment produces way better paddlers than mine. You might have less kayakers on the water but you have quality.
It's a pleasure to read your blog: such a different world than mine.

We were fortunate this year with some nice winter days so we took advantage and dressed and prepared accordingly. It is beautiful paddling in winter as well. Having said that I wouldn't mind a few days in Queensland either.
