Actually Silbs there are beach pockets accessible along the route we were paddling. Some of these would be hazardous to approach on bad days depending on wind direction etc. Our paddle day had good conditions with accessible beach landings if need be. Of course paddling in these colder conditions emergency landing spots are crucial.

Nice piece, dramatic cliffs. It looks like a bad place to be on certain days as I saw no escape routes.
